Dear Sailors, Sponsors, Organizers and Friends, The Management Committee and staff of the Offshore Racing Congress are pleased to support the efforts of the Famagusta Nautical Club on this occasion of the 2018 ORC European Championship. We are pleased with their efforts to host this prestigious annual event for the first time in the Eastern Mediterranean, a place of great beauty, culture and pleasant sailing. This region has a deep history of sailing and life on the water, so we hope that this event helps bring more sailors in the region to enjoying the fun and spirit of camaraderie that we all share in this sport. At ORC we strive to provide the World’s most scientific and transparent system of fair racing among boats of different types so that it is the skills of the sailors that get recognized in the race results.
