Dear sailors, On behalf of the city of Limassol É welcome you to Cyprus. It is indeed a great honour for our city to host IOANNIDEIA every year, especially when such great events, as the Optimist World and ORC European Championship 2018 are under the umbrella of the biggest sailing event in the Eastern Mediterranean.. Our Municipality is always ready to support important sporting events, since we believe that such events are in accordance with our city being a center o f international cultural and athletic events. Limassol has had a long history as a city by the sea. The people of Limassol resemble the sea which embraces our city. Like the sea, they are energetic, open and in constant movement.
