Half way point for the fleet racing in Ioannideia 2018 Optimist World Championship and with the completion of the qualifying round, the start of the team racing took place today.
Light breeze of 8 to 10 knots came in around 13:30and participating National Teams gave it all, for a place in the finals tomorrow. Team USA, last year championship team was there to defend its title and manage to go through to the finals, but there were some very strong performances from team Italy, Singapore, Argentina and Brazil.
Expecting some great battles on the final day of team racing tomorrow with many really strong match-ups.
