A real boost to the Organizing Authority of Ioannideia 2018, the support of The President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nikos Anastasiades and his Director of Office Mr. Petros Demetriou.
At a meeting at the Presidential Palace that took place on Wednesday, June 13th, besides the fact that the President, Mr. Nicos Anastasiades, accepted once again to put Ioannideia 2018 under His congregation, the President and his Office expressed their serious interest for The Event which includes the Optimist Mediterranean and World Championships, the ORC European and ORC E. Mediterranean Trophy, as well as the Cyprus – Israel Offshore Race.
The President’s Office made it clear to the Organizing Authority that the Cyprus Government would do everything possible for Ioannideia 2018 to be a successfull event and promote the country as a sailing paradise.
“It is our honor to have the support of the government, especially that of the President, Mr. Nikos Anastasiades. We would do our best to make Cyprus proud, completing a successful event”, stated by the President of Famagusta Nautical Club, Mr. Stelios Charalambous.
