Day 3 of Ioannideia 2015 International Optimist Regatta is under way. With the dust cloud starting to clear up after noon, races 3, 4 and 5 are proceeding as scheduled. With South-Westerly winds of 8 to 10 knots and the conditions way better since yesterday’s blackout, sailors are about to enjoy the adrenaline of racing.
Races 3 and 4 finally completed with race 5 cancelled due to the wind dropping down below 4 knots.
Races 5, 6 and 7 are rescheduled back to their initial time on Thursday at 12:30.
Following the completion of the races there will be an hour of preparation, followed by the Award Ceremony and a Beach Party for ALL (athletes, parents, coaches, officials, sponsors and anyone that wants to join). Music and plenty of food & drinks.
